Head's Welcome

I’m so pleased to be writing to you as the new Headteacher of The Reddings. Having grown up in this community and worked here for the past eight years, the school already feels like home, and it’s a real privilege to be continuing my journey here.

We believe every child, no matter their starting point, has the potential to succeed. This is possible thanks to the dedication of our staff and the strong partnership we share with parents and carers. Our school is a happy and nurturing place where children feel proud of who they are, know they are valued, and are supported to be the very best they can be.

We teach our children to be kind and compassionate, to respect themselves and others, and to develop the resilience and ambition to embrace new challenges. Most importantly, we aim to prepare them not just for the next stage of their education, but for life - helping them to leave The Reddings with the skills and confidence to thrive in the world beyond our gates.

I feel very fortunate to be leading such a wonderful school and I’m excited to continue building on our many strengths. Whether you are already part of our community or looking for the right place for your child to begin their journey, I look forward to sharing all that makes The Reddings so special.
